2017 PART THIRTY 22/07 -- 28/07

This week kicks off with the 5th Anniversary of Dad passing. Which was difficult enough to get through but made much worse this week by other actions of my own making. Sadly having made loads of mistakes I am also having so much discomfort with my eyesight.

So have chosen to abandon this weeks entry. It's just not been a good week, for me or for others.

Take care of yourself. Find a way to be happy.
Sometime life sucks badly.

2017 PART TWENTY NINE 15/07 -- 21/07

Still struggling with the eye this week so only got good vision out of the left one, this might be rather brief as a result.

Missed my friend Steve's wedding too last Sunday, not been well for a while, but wished them well. Spoken to my older Brother, Graham, earlier in the week too and he's got a new motor bike which sounds great, though still worried that there's something not quite right with him either. I should try and stop worrying all the time, we are getting older but it's not great when you next read that your Sister is going into hospital for an operation but has had to travel to Brisbane for it?

Had the Monday off work cos of the eye, beginning to feel better now. Getting through to the end of the week and paid for July too will help, next up is booking some days off and planning to get away somewhere.

Being brief this week, nothing new happening, looking ahead to the rest of summer and making things change in the second half of year. Keep well x

2017 PART TWENTY EIGHT 08/07 -- 14/07

Starting the week with a very sore and infected eye, at least having Monday off work helps and plenty of rest (and getting away from the PC will help too so this might be brief).

The first friendly of the new season for AFC Wimbledon was meant to be against Eastleigh down in Hampshire. However despite a lovely sunny day for it, where we had hoped to view a few new faces and some possible players on trial we were very disappointed to learn that the game was called off just a few hours before kick off due to concerns over their newly laid pitch. So instead we have to wait till Saturday for the home fixture at Kingsmeadow against Premier League Watford FC. Kick off 3pm.

Difficult week, not much else happening till I get my eyesight back in shape. Enjoy your time, the summer is a bit too much for me but hope you all enjoying it. Will aim to get away for a few breaks later in Aug / Sept. In the meantime make sure you love one another.

Make time for intimacy.

An intimate relationship is one of life’s greatest pleasures.
But it also takes some planning and work. We all need to make being together a priority. Otherwise, everything from doing the ironing to paying the bills can get in the way of spending time together.
• Make time for intimacy. Some people carve out a “date night.”
• Others plan a night away from home and familiar routines.
• Do things together that bring you close and awaken feelings of intimacy.
  • Have breakfast in bed together.
  • Take an afternoon nap together.
  • Go for a swim together.
  • Give each other massages and back rubs.
• Be affectionate. How often do you and your partner kiss and hug one another?

2017 PART TWENTY SEVEN 01/07 -- 07/07

That was a busy week and pleased to begin a weekend with some relaxing times. Still had a few money issues but thankfully we getting there and still surviving. Bought some new clothes recently and also down a trouser size again so that is welcome and makes me feel better especially as I've not exactly been keeping to my diet and training regime but I've also not been going silly either.

Nothing exciting planned this week, just getting by is proving to be hard enough at times. Friends have recently moved and their new home(s) looks awesome so hope they enjoy life and have lots of fun. There's been some birthdays too which I've sent cards for and money as usual though I really need some time off from everything to stop, think and plan how I am going to get through this year and somehow back on track. It's now July and the year flying past where nothing has really improved? Or has it. Can I find those small victories that might help my mood. Well I didn't have the best of birthdays, missed Cheltenham and Sandown with my brother and also hiding away from many good friends. On the plus side not put the weight on, have also not been drinking much and there's still a chance to do a bit better before the end of the year.

No days off now till early September. Really want to go away somewhere and the coast would be great to chill by the seaside? This time last year I was looking forward to a long weekend in Great Yarmouth (above), and since that doesn't seem to be on the cards this year I will be considering a break away to the Isle of Wight or a journey up to York instead.

At least this weekend all being well I shall be calling round to see my amazing friend Julia though my Goddaughter Annie is away at Guide Camp so hope she has a lot of fun there and will catch up with Ju's and have a good gossip. Nice
