2018 DIARY WEEK TWELVE 19/03 -- 25/03

Been PAID for March on Friday which was very nice, still not being that great with my money but at least we have the means to survive for now and things are beginning to look good. Built up a few quid at home which will help me in the  future, but have a lot to do in order to fully survive the rest of this year.

Busy at work so that helped the days pass by, have a new starter David who is sitting opposite me, seems a lovely fella although not really sure what he does, some sort of User Experience expert so will let him get on with that. Seen some of his portfolio though and quite impressive what he's done to date, I hope that they will support him and use his skills.

AFC Wimbledon are away to Shrewsbury and have covered some bets on that game while England play Holland on Friday night in a friendly. I don't have a lot planned over the weekend, should find somewhere to go really it would be shame to spend another weekend stuck indoors.

It's odd now, am sleeping a bit better of late, yet still have plenty of anger and bitterness inside. Have a four day week to look forward to over the next couple of weeks with Easter Holidays on the horizon. Also found out that we will move up to London on 9th April so it'll be here very soon. Can afford to move, it might be alright, I just feel as though it will be more hassle than usual. Never mind.

2018 DIARY WEEK ELEVEN 12/03 -- 18/03

Cheltenham week arrives and we've money to enjoy it with for the first time in years, even managed to fluke another couple of wins at the start of the week to put us in a good mood. Wimbledon beating Oxford 2-1 also helped.
MISTER WHITAKER WINNING THE 5:30 CHELTENHAM ON TUESDAY
Had Tuesday off and went out to enjoy day one of the festival with my brother, oldest nephew and others. An excellent day off, plenty of winners, plenty of drinks too. Even got a big winner in the last that I had told loads of people about so hopefully they were all on, thank you Mick Channon and all connected with Mister Whitaker for that. Wednesday was back at work and didn't really do much on the betting front but still picked up a few quid, although losing loads on Betfair arcade is still a problem. Will need to drop about £1000 into Bank on Friday, do have a few bets lined up for Friday though and have cash to cover the day. But overall I do feel better and things are on the up.

Going to buy some Easter Eggs for people at work, though probably don't have to it's nice of me to try and be generous now that I am debt free.
Now we will enjoy the rugby on Saturday and AFC Wimbledon playing at Rochdale in what can be described as a must win game to move us away from the drop zone against a fellow struggling side. And the news this week that the old stadium is being demolished making the step to the new plough lane stadium closer.

We drew that game 1-1 probably lucky to get a point, every little helps. Come on you Dons.

2018 DIARY WEEK TEN 05/03 -- 11/03

Another fun week at work, people leaving and still lots of uncertainty about the future in Blackfriars, I know that William and Jenny will soon be off so just Ken, Cathy, Liz, Sonia and Derek left to keep me sane. Took most of the team out for lunch earlier in the week following a recent win it's the least I can do though I had already given some gifts out too so generally feel ok and more positive despite all the issues.

Surprising then that the week which started with a lot of angst has actually passed off fairly well. Was able to enjoy myself, sleep a little better and I've done some important retail therapy. Replaced the broken Tablet with a new one which is looking good, and ordered a replacement phone which hopefully will arrive soon. Won a few bids on ebay too, picked up a few N Gauge items so need to order some track and have a go at creating something to play with.

Bought plenty of booze too, found a new friend with Kraken Rum which is lovely mixed with Blackcurrant or on it's own.

The weekend sees Wimbledon play at home to Oxford will aim to follow that although it's also six nations rugby too and Sandown Park races prior to the Cheltenham Festival.

Have a great week, hope this run continues.

2018 DIARY WEEK NINE -- 26/02 -- 04/03

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WEEK MAKES !!

Wonderful start with the money I won over the weekend hitting the bank account, and that means many things are now resolved;

1) Overdraft cleared and cancelled.

2) Loan repaid 10 months early.
3) Cards cleared too and keep for emergency and travel only
4) Monthly budgets are a lot easier.
5) I feel so much better in myself too.

Yes I even slept ok which is a huge improvement now and it's up to me to use this opportunity to move forwards. Let's see how we manage with that know how useless i usually am with this sort of thing. Am planning forwards with some days off, could do with a short stay somewhere too even if just a night away so thinking about that for next weekend although it is a rugby one so Twickenham will be busy.

Would have gone to football on Saturday but the game against Charlton was called off due to the cold and a frozen pitch. So instead busy rebuilding my laptop having had to completely restart it and have a bit of a gap in my saved back ups but hopefully nothing too serious.

Feeling better, not surprisingly, bought some new shirts and other bits, all look good and fingers crossed am on the up now. Have a good week, more later.
