2019 DIARY WEEK TWENTY ONE 20th MAY -- 26th MAY

This is a good week, as it's only three days in the office and then two days off to enjoy before also having a nice long weekend too. So how was Monday and Tuesday, well same as usual, managed to get in early on each day, have breakfast and get through it. Am beginning to feel a bit on edge again though so need to be careful, it's a short week so get through and enjoy the time off. Spent some time looking ahead to the end of the week and have written up some blog posts too I pray that I can get some luck on Thursday night at Sandown with Graham and then survive the month ahead.

Spoken to Will which was nice and we shall have a meet up on Sunday soon (9th June) in Kingston, have extended the invite to Ken, Cathy and others but suspect it might just be Will and myself which is fine and I do owe him a lunch. Sonia has replied so maybe there will be a few more we will see.
DEE EX BEE HENRY II STAKES WINNER
Got pay slip on Thursday surprised as expected less in there due to pension changes, but that's great, we can go out on Thursday and have a night out with Graham for his birthday now. Paid on Friday, can have a day out somewhere and get some shopping in for the weekend. If racing at Sandown is positive then even better. Thankfully we did have some fortune on Thursday night, can buy gifts for Julia and John birthday and also get through the weekend. Excellent. Friday have done some of the greyhounds for the morning, see if you can do some football later, then having been paid sort out bills and few other things. Try and enjoy the weekend and rest too. Saturday very similar, covered the morning greyhounds and so I should go out and find something to do. A quiet weekend overall though, get some beers, find a film to watch later and plan for the week ahead which begins with a Bank Holiday !

2019 DIARY WEEK TWENTY 13th MAY -- 19th MAY

A fairly bland week expected here, looking ahead to my older brother Grahams birthday next week and going out to Sandown Park on the Thursday night. So nothing to really excite myself with this week it will have to be one of "survival" and just crack on with work and book some days off to plan ahead. See how work is, Monday and Tuesday was fine, we've a new BA started who seems nice but am struggling with my well-being and hearing is really bad too I can barely hear Liz sometimes and she sits next to me.

Booking days off, well one of them I have to go back for another eye scan on Monday 3rd June have also booked up Thursday 20th June which is Royal Ascot Gold Cup day so will just enjoy that from home and write it up in a bit more detail as I will for the rest of the meeting that week. Monday 1st July is also in the diary but for the life of me I cannot think why still a Monday off could make a long weekend possible. Now I remember that weekend is some family company event and I've said I cannot attend as I am away (Brighton) may well go away but it just means I can avoid the inevitable stress of it all for the same reason I do not attend Christmas parties either. Been in touch with William and will need to make a date with him for lunch soon. As we head to the end of the week at least survived it, been feeling weird, though it will hopefully be better when next week arrives. FA Cup final on Saturday with Manchester City against Watford on in the evening, going to be a fairly quiet summer this year with little on to inspire. Start looking at holidays or days out, we need to achieve something this time around. Keep well. Stay Alive.

2019 DIARY WEEK NINETEEN 6th MAY -- 12th MAY

End of the week off following my 50th birthday and at least a Bank Holiday Monday to begin with meaning a short week to go back at work. All being well off out to meet Cathy (my ex boss) in Staines in the morning, go walk Jasper her dog and maybe lunch. Just be nice to have a good day out for once.
Then it's back to work on Tuesday (booo) see how you survive this week, trying to keep money for Graham's birthday night out at Sandown towards the end of the month, already have tickets, have drinking money so all good on that score. Nothing else though so just surviving once again, and will need to begin a plan to make life better for me between now and the end of the year. Look for something you can do that will a) make you happy and b) get you out of the house c) away from this computer screen.

It's possible that at the end of this week I can have a ride down towards Haywards Heath and attend a model railway event there on Saturday afternoon but also on the agenda is to meet up with and old friend Wendy who I've not seen for some years but have more than a soft spot for. Depending on how Monday pans out will be able to drop her a quick hello and aim to get down there rather than the usual dossing about at home. Had a good week last week despite losing money, and this would really help my mindset, also Wendy is a "well being coach" and mentor so would be nice to find out a bit more about that and if there's something I can do to help myself. Sadly seems I will have to postpone that for a short while. Rest of the week though is just cracking on at work, seeing if you can scrape by till next couple of weeks pass and make sure you can still go out with Graham and Bob to Sandown Park

2019 DIARY WEEK EIGHTEEN 29th APR -- 5th MAY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!

Yes I have a whole week off to enjoy and it's my 50th Birthday on Tuesday 30th April. The week has already had a decent start since my team AFC Wimbledon beat Wycombe 2-1 to lift themselves out of the relegation places in League One and with only one game to come this weekend away at Bradford City it's looking very likely that we have done a miracle escape and stayed up. Had a nice long chat with my old boss Cathy on Monday and we have sorted out meeting up on Bank Holiday Monday in Staines for 10am so I must ensure i am up and out as I did enjoy a lovely lay in today. So on the first day of the week off I just popped out locally and picked up a little shopping. The plan will be that I get out on Tuesday to Kingston and Wednesday is Ascot with my brother and few friends.
