Another week, no money, Jenny leaving and it's still cold n wet out. At least Monday and Tuesday might be fairly peaceful and lets just try and make it through to the end. Monday our football club at least exceeded it's initial target of £5m via the Plough Lane Bond this is outstanding efforts from the fans and means we are another step forwards on the return to Plough Lane and the build is continuing.
Tuesday night the Dons got thrashed 5-0 by Oxford and we need to forget about that game and move onto Saturday's home match against Blackpool as that's a winnable game. Work stuff is still getting me down and with FFT handover already feeling strained I don't know where this is going. Gave my leaving speech for Jenny on Thursday ... and that seemed to go down well enough, I will miss her and wish her nothing but the best. Need a bit of time for myself. Got £350 from Wonga refund, now try not to blow it all. Put £150 already on William Hill, so we need to keep the rest for me. Taken £50 out in cash for weekend and most of next week ahead, then on Friday for Jason's party I need the other £100. Which will probably mean I've nothing for Cheltenham with Graham as that come before I'm paid next. Lets see...
Started off as a self help page seeking a change in lifestyle and attitude since 2016, have kept it going through into 2020-22 as it helps to get stuff off my chest, encouragement, mental health and achievements however big or small they may be. Keep the faith. Be Nice. Stay Alive.

2020 DIARY WEEK SEVEN 10th FEB -- 16th FEB
Another uneventful weekend, and now having to get through next couple of weeks unharmed, I wonder what fun will we have in store this time. Hopefully I can write up some more notes about Jenny and do her a good leaving speech, really do not have a lot to go on at all. [Find out where she is moving on too would be a good start]. It's been a stormy start and will see if we can have a better week with very little money to my name though we should survive. Very cold and wet out, in a storm and feeling rough.
Have a quiet couple of days, Tuesday might be ok as I can sit in meetings for the morning then find something to do. Tuesday night we have AFC Wimbledon vs Ipswich Town which ended in a dull 0-0 draw although that might be a good point at the end of the season. Also had a busy day Wednesday plus success with the Kempton Blog that puts us back almost level for the season it's just a shame I didn't back that 33/1 winner. If the rest of the week can pass by without too much drama I can spend the weekend resting, following the football and preparing blogs for Cheltenham soon too.
Got a free bet from William Hill for £50 which I have put on the first half at the Rotherham vs AFC Wimbledon game on Saturday and hopefully that might give us something, otherwise it's a very quiet week ahead for me.

2020 DIARY WEEK SIX 3rd FEB -- 9th FEB
Enjoyed the Superbowl on Sunday night so another late start to the week as didn't finish till the early hours of Monday morning as usual. Glad to catch the impressive comeback by Kansas City Chiefs who won 31-20 against San Francisco. Back to work, feel bit better as managed to keep a few quid for me so get some stamps for next round of birthdays as well as maybe a bottle of something for me. Will have to see how the week goes, I do already have bottle of Prosecco at home so that will do for me, though fancy a bottle of red really.
The work we did on the weekend seems to have gone well too, so I shall have Friday at home and use that time to go see Dad at the Crematorium since it would have been his 86th Birthday on Friday 7th. However the work stuff is beginning to become more difficult, too many people all pulling me in different directions, and now Liz is having Fridays off, Jenny leaving in couple of weeks and also learned that Simon (our IT boss) is off too. I now appear to have been volunteered to do Jenny's leaving speech and I'm not really good at these.
Away from work some nice chats with Cathy, and also regular mentions from Steffi on the IOW. We approach the weekend with a couple of pennies to my name and maybe we can get a few things done too, ha ha ha of course we didn't. Idiot.

2020 DIARY WEEK FIVE 27th JAN -- 2nd FEB
This week, working till Thursday when I will have a day off to attend the funeral of Nick Cruickshank. RIP NICK !!
Early part of the week wasn't up to much have been suffering with a "frozen" shoulder but it's nothing compared to the loss that comes to us all eventually. It's my Sister Pamela's birthday on Friday so nipped a card into the post for that and then just looking to try and survive the week, we have a football match on Tuesday versus Burton Albion and then all things head towards this weekends Superbowl LIV where Kansas City face San Francisco late at night on Sunday.
Not much else to say this week so will leave it at that for this entry, be nice, love always and remember the good times.
