Last year, Mind wrote a statement in regards to Blue Monday on their website reading: “Here at Mind, we think [Blue Monday] is dangerously misleading. Those of us who live with depression know that those feelings aren’t dictated by the date. Implying that they are perpetuates the myth that depression is ‘just feeling a bit down,’ something that doesn’t need to be taken seriously.”
Rest of week was much the same old routine, chatting with the likes of Will Cheung and arranged a meeting up on Sunday will be good, also had some nice chats with my old boss during our weekly session of Holby City too. Then I even had a conversation with an ex and meeting up with her for my birthday which will be lovely if it actually happens but at least it gives me plans for the future and that must be useful for the benefit of my mental health. Arranged a night out with lads which was going to be down in Bournemouth however that has proved to be a logistical problem for people coming further afield and we are back to an afternoon / evening session in Richmond and Twickenham instead. Which is good as it's great fun to get the lads out and although one or two might miss it there should be a good crowd. Some are also saying Yes to coming to Ascot end of April for my 50th. So I need to save for that and sort out a few things.
