2019 DIARY WEEK THIRTEEN 25th MAR -- 31st MAR

This week, starts with us being paid which is nice, sadly though as we did last week am already broke though. Let us try and progress through the week and look ahead towards the day off on Friday when we are hopefully all out into Richmond and Twickenham with old school friends out and about. As it stands I might just be able to do this now, but it's been really rough and stupid of you but here you are now it's done.
Before then we need to get through the working week for a few days, at least the redesign release seems to have gone through well and we will try and work on that positive outcome and move forwards. Will however miss out on seeing Jenny (right) this week as our lovely Business Analyst who will be in the office on Friday and currently on maternity leave, so that's a shame but I really wish her well although it's unlikely she'll be coming back full time and can't blame here for that. Hopefully we can sort out another day or a lunch, I've still got to organise something with Ken and Cathy as well as the likes of Will and Ruth in Kingston.

So the rest of the week passes by, and I just hope that I can manage to get out on Friday as well as sorting the next few weeks out. This weekend it's more football with AFC Wimbledon facing fellow relegation strugglers Scunthorpe United, there is also Formula 1 racing although as is the case for this season it's mostly highlights on Channel 4. Speaking of which it's the final Last Leg of the series on Friday night too so although I will be out at least I can follow that on demand on Saturday as I doubt I'll be home.

Had an annual eye scan, bit sore, but it's over now for another year till I get the results and see if they differ to the last time. Will also begin a bit of a clean up and having ordered some new shoes and clothes some of the older ones will have to be thrown away. Yet no matter how much I tidy up, the place is still full of junk (and lots of trains lol).

Have a great weekend, it's Mothering Sunday and don't forget to put your clocks forward an hour too.

2019 DIARY WEEK TWELVE 18th MAR -- 24th MAR

So that's Cheltenham over and done with for another year, this week is a bit of a quiet one now with only the days to cross off till we are paid next Monday. Need it but we are just scraping by now, with my 50th Birthday just over a month away time to start getting organised for that. We just have enough to see us through this week, have picked up birthday cards and at least one present for Mrs Hughes which is good as we can probably do the rest by Easter.

Not much on this week outside of work stuff, football is Saturday against Gillingham with the Dons on a good run recently yet still in the bottom four, albeit within touching distance of safety for the first time in months. Bought tickets for Sandown Park in May so will post these over to Graham after Easter and hopefully see them at Ascot too although they are yet to be received which is a little disappointing but it's only been a few days really.

How do I get through the rest of the week, have another interview on Thursday evening for Saadian, some form of test, just try and rest and prepare as best you can and then just do your best, whatever it is it cannot hurt you and what will be will be.

Weekend follow football, and get things ready for next week as we're ready to go out on Friday week with the guys, as well as planning for Easter and my Birthday.

2019 DIARY WEEK ELEVEN 11th MAR -- 17th MAR

Back into the office on Monday and the result of an office move, nice and peaceful but feeling very upset and distressed again following a very poor weekend. It's Cheltenham week ahead but absolute disaster already having lost all money even though last week we should have had some success. All gone, no use crying over it, it's done. Get over it and move on. You have Friday off as leave so you must find something to do. Good time to get down the crematorium in the morning and if you have a tenner to yourself then get some birthday cards and lunch in. Cheltenham blogs being written anyway even though we are not attending this year, at least keeps us busy.

Managed to find the winner of the first race on Day One of Cheltenham (Klassical Dream) and gave it to my friend and former Saadian Technologies colleague Fabrizio who won a nice amount so at least some one is happy today. Given him CHAMP (2nd 9/2, sorry mate) in the opener on Wednesday and maybe he will have some luck from me this week although I will have none. Shall try and find a nice one for Thursday and Friday too, good luck to you Fab.

I just continue to self destruct and fear that it's only a few months now and then I have to pull the plug. Haven't even heard from Graham either usually hear something this week about going out but that doesn't matter now as I cannot afford to do anything at all. Ok it's done, stop going on about it, just draw a line, move on, get over it and find something else for yourself to do now.

Day off Friday - what to do, hopefully weather is fine and I can nip out for a few hours and chill. If awful day then while home will have the trains out for a run.

2019 DIARY WEEK TEN 4th MAR -- 10th MAR

Its the week before this years' Cheltenham Festival, so have been busy drafting blog posts for next week ahead as well as regular ones for Kempton (Wed) and Sandown (Sat). This helps to alleviate the dread and doom that is my every day life right now. Thankfully the weekend and Monday was better than expected and we move into this week with a little more optimism about seeing out the future. The weekend was a little easier following the surprise visit by the little rascals (love em both) and their Dad, all of them might be off to deepest Devon soon enough but good to luck to them on that move and it'll be really wonderful for their future, go for it Gabriel and Lavinia.

Have also sent in a CV to Saadian (my old job up for grabs) so will see if there is any reply to that? A reply was fairly swift asking a few questions so will see, I'll give it a week perhaps, in fact it is moving fast I have a telephone / video call with David Unwin on Friday afternoon via Skype hopefully just a 15-20 minute grilling. Tuesday and feeling the strain, not having much luck with things outside of office, still survived it and move on. No pancakes for me this year.

Telephone interview was not one of my best, but it was difficult to hear over skype, however its done and we will see what they say next week. Thought I had some money on Friday but spunked that away by the weekend so we are back to square one again. Weekend is just watching TV, seeing about writing other blogs and praying that life somehow changes for the better soon. Stay Alive.

2019 DIARY WEEK NINE 25th FEB -- 3rd MAR

Last week of February and this year feels like it's flying by already. Monday at least get paid and sort out a few bills. For a change you should of had a little money for yourself but of course that didn't happen as it's all gone already at the weekend. Next week i need to sort out a 21st birthday card and money to Robbie but aside from that I really have nothing at all. Just go in this week, and get on with work, keep your head screwed on and then think about how you get through to May. At least I picked up a card for Robbie so just need to find a little money to send that away before Friday.

Came in on Monday fed up as usual, do not know how to improve this, and worried that both days out planned for next month and my 50th birthday are going wrong. Will not be out for Cheltenham with my brother that much is certain already although I have the day off so will need to find something to do instead and get out for the day, that is only a couple of weeks away.

Mum's birthday would have been today too (Monday 25th) and I can feel the presence of my family. I don't think they are too happy and I do not blame them. Sorry Mum x.
