2019 DIARY WEEK THIRTY 22nd JULY -- 28th JULY

Another week and it's about to get a lot warmer, if you can get by on Monday that would be awesome as you also have Tuesday OFF and plans to get out for the day plus on Thursday you will be paid which might begin to help things at least in the short term. Two big issues to work through this week though, first one might be simple and that's replace your broken Oyster card to the reserve one which I hope will still work having not had use for about ten years. The other slight more difficult and that's my right foot has collapsed and it's awkward / painful to walk about. Taking pain killers helping but the initial discomfort is a bit problem for me at the moment. Ok so I think I got the Oyster card sorted, at least the money has been transferred over so we should be good now he says hopefully.

Other things for this week particularly on Tuesday as I have booked the day off to visit the Crematorium as it's the anniversary of Dad passing so I will be emotional and sad. It's a very hot day and sat around feeling rather confused, maybe that was the heat?

Thursday is supposed to be the hottest day of the year, perhaps on record, but it's just one day and all being well if we can get into the office early then we can survive it. Already well down for the month I honestly don't know what to do with myself but I shall try and find somewhere to go on the weekend since sitting at home doesn't seem to be working for me either. I will have a new Oyster card for the month so maybe go out early doors on Saturday and catch a bus or train to Kingston or Richmond and grab a coffee and few bits for lunch. Then looking ahead to next week it will be a busy one for the racing blogs as we have meetings at Pontefract (Sunday) followed by Galway festival and Glorious Goodwood all week too.
