2020 DIARY WEEK FOURTEEN 30th MAR -- 5th APR Isolated WFH #2

Clocks gone forward over the weekend and now we set fair for another week at home, after hearing news last Friday about many people being told to stop working I wonder what our future is now. Will see if there is a drop off of people on the stand ups and other meetings or not from Monday and whether we hear any actual confirmation of who is now off? Later in the week we are expecting that our developers / contractors 'Fullfatthings' will come to an end so from 1st April will see what changes there too. Didn't have a great day on Monday it was very cold as well, but I survived it, popped out and picked up couple of things for lunch and also emptied bag of rubbish out. Tuesday the plan will be to go out in morning after the sprint planning call, and go get few supplies if I can, then thinking about Richmond by train on Wednesday or somewhere that I can get some stamps if possible. Thankfully managed to get some in local newsagent store so am sorted, plus managed to pick up few birthday cards so sending one out to Max on Wednesday. Had a good call and chat with team, so Wednesday I won't need to go out on trains will just pop out and use Oyster card (as it's due to expire) to get to shops and get some dinners in to see me through to the weekend.

Cancelled my week off that I had planned in for end of April, this is a sensible move as all events are also postponed with no likelihood of a resumption of football or racing and nowhere to go to really either. Hopefully I can do something nice later in the year. Now we'll see how the latter part of the week goes. Wednesday managed to get out while my Oyster card was still active and get few supplies in shop that should see me through the rest of the week till Monday or Tuesday. Still queuing but it was not too bad and managed to get what I needed then go back on the bus. Work was fine I was keeping myself busy enough, there's just not a lot happening elsewhere sadly. Mrs H's birthday gifts have arrived so that is something positive, also got a couple of birthday cards for later and stamps so we ought to be fine this month. Will be writing up other blogs with all sporting events off and no railway exhibitions or rail tours either we should get some of my models out for a run too. Keep well and safe, we will get through this in time, then plan something fun.
