So yes, I've got enough coffee supplies in again hurrah. Two days off work now starting Thursday hopefully bit of a lay in but will pick up some supplies later for the weekend. Written up some other blogs with horse racing supposed to begin again on Monday. Very hot out there, so hayfever is playing up still, having been out will stay in for a bit now and rest. Try not to lose all your money. Guys might have another quiz or D&D session in a week or so that would be fun, have a read of the players guide and get bit more familiar with what's going on. Good news from AFC Wimbledon that the final contract on the new stadium has been signed and we have the money invested from a fan to move forwards. Good. Although the stadium now has a completion date of Oct 2020 we are no nearer to knowing if we are still in League One or not. News from the Premier League that they plan to restart games on 17th June? Now let us have a peaceful weekend too and try to start using the weights again.
Started off as a self help page seeking a change in lifestyle and attitude since 2016, have kept it going through into 2020-22 as it helps to get stuff off my chest, encouragement, mental health and achievements however big or small they may be. Keep the faith. Be Nice. Stay Alive.

2020 DIARY WEEK TWENTY TWO 25th MAY - 31st MAY Isolated WFH #10
Week ten now of working at home and hopefully this should be a better week here as we start with a Bank Holiday Monday and have two days annual leave booked Thursday and Friday this week. Didn't have a great time last week although spirits were lifted by the call with guys and the D&D session. This week we need to be safe, try and sleep well and be happy, and ensure that there are no more work issues from me. After a nice lazy lay in on Monday was able to relax and have a peaceful day with plenty of music and podcasts, go for a short walk too and Graham called for a quick chat as well which prompts us to drop a message to Sue, James and Hannah. Tuesday feeling full of hayfever today and plenty of meetings online my earlier feelings of being fine have soon diminished and now really struggling again, thankfully I did sleep better but mainly as I was so tired and it was very hot at night. Up very early on Wednesday and been out to get rent monies out plus bits and pieces in Tesco then had a very busy but rather productive day, even playing up some funds online and covered the evening football games which is at least helping us pass the time.

2020 DIARY WEEK TWENTY ONE 18th MAY - 24th MAY Isolated WFH #9
Nine weeks into lockdown now and although work have sent out a guide to what our landlords are doing to make the office building in Blackfriars "safe" I think any return to the office is weeks away with the lack of safe public transport and social distancing a big barrier. Still we are fine and cracking on with work so best to just stay quiet, get on with it, keep calm and carry on. Given we did some work on Sunday we will probably have an early finish on Monday but generally just want to keep busy enough so that the days pass by and that I don't have too much stress and anxiety. Did go out too and picked up a few things so that was useful, shouldn't need to do so again till end of the week all being well. Tuesday didn't sleep that well and hay-fever is causing me some discomfort. We press on though and trying to get into the Kentico work now, while also wanting to find something to do for next week when off Thursday / Friday, given that I cannot really go anywhere it will be tricky. Had a brief call with Phil and Maria on the Isle of Man which was lovely and it was Phil's birthday too so good way to cheer myself up. Lee was doing a Quiz night but said 8pm and it kicked off at 7pm so missed that anyway.
Made it to Wednesday and see how that goes, didn't feel too great early on, seem to have got a bit better and received pay slip with a small bonus for this month, while only 1% I wasn't expecting much if anything so this will help a bit during the month ahead. Still rather anxious about returning to office so hopefully that will not be any time soon given the travel concerns and lack of clarity from HM Government. Thursday was not a great day as plenty of work issues and I was trying to get other things done. Went out and got some food shopping done for the weekend so that was fine, and had a call with David to catch up on where he is and sounds like he's doing really well. Friday night was good as the guys came together to have a D&D night online. Did a small adventure but really it was great to see guys and have a bit of banter 35 years after the last time? (thereabouts).

2020 DIARY WEEK TWENTY 11th MAY - 17th MAY Isolated WFH #8
I do have some drinks in which is nice and also caught up on most of my podcasts and iplayer shows too. Wednesday will see if we can have a quiet day and rest, focusing on the Engagement Letter work to do but had a very rough night sleep and feel very tired and weary again at least have this work to try and progress with and complete. No other issues today please. Loads of noisy kids outside doesn't help much either, and will need to go out and get something tomorrow. Thursday and not too bad a night sleep for a change, will be heading out later for some food shopping supplies and have plenty to do work wise. Written up most of my other blogs too and just one more for Dads to complete over the weekend, then we will start to look at June and whatever that might have in store for us. Replied to Steve Skeats too, hopefully he'll find another job role soon enough. Friday was fine in the end it just played out as expected, had a nice chat with Sue next door and went for a walk. Weekend will be another peaceful one, shall try and sleep more, do some housework and I have enough dinners in for now though maybe I'll nip out early next week. Music and Comedy the order for the weekend with the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert being shown in full for one.

2020 DIARY WEEK NINETEEN 4th MAY - 10th MAY Isolated WFH #7
Week seven under lock down and still working at home, now I'm 51 what's going to happen this year I wonder, well hopefully sometime in the not too distant future we can plan some time away and go see some Railway gala's and open days, although looking at the calendar most of this is cancelled till about August at the earliest.
Did hear from Cousin Jo again which was nice, also ex work colleague Steve and my far away gorgeous gal Sarah so they are high on my list to go and visit when we can. Have begun to fret a bit about a return to the office, feels like we are not out the woods yet with this Coronavirus even if the government say we are over the peak, long way to go in my opinion and I don't want a return before end May really. Short working week this time as Friday is the rearranged Bank Holiday to coincide with the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Did not sleep well at all on Monday night / Tuesday morning so clearly the worry is getting to me already. Hopefully Tuesday will pass by without too much drama, listened to a few podcasts including the boxing one which is always good. Planning on going out for bit of shopping on Wednesday probably Iceland and get enough in for the weekend ahead, although I achieved this today still feel like I don't have what I really want, but it'll have to do and did all my other chores too today. Hopefully Thursday will be peaceful and we can then have a few days to rest.
Friday the start of a long weekend will spend some time following the online commemoration of the 75th anniversary of 'VE Day'. The British Legion had many events planned, all scaled back now, but nonetheless worth sparing some time to appreciate the lives we now have.

2020 DIARY WEEK EIGHTEEN 27th APR - 3rd MAY Isolated WFH #6
Another week, one where I should have been looking forward to having the week off and going out ... cos it's MY BIRTHDAY (51st on Thursday). Instead we cancelled that leave, as there's no place to go, so instead of Ascot, meeting Cathy/Ken, going to see Cousin Jo and other things we are working at home again oh what joy. Not really that bothered about my birthday this year, it's just another day, I do feel sorry for friends that had 50th birthday celebrations planned though as they have had to cancel them but I do hope they can arrange something else later in the year. Monday we make sure our bills are paid, rent given to Mrs H, and plan the week ahead. Fairly quiet and uneventful day really not disturbed much and spent bit of time getting things ready for later in the week. Tomorrow (Tuesday) is my friend Mark's 50th birthday and we should have a chat online with friends too later. First time we had a decent amount of rain too so unlikely to venture out very far today, we hopefully will be out later in the week. Had my first night of uninterrupted sleep so Wednesday was bit brighter though still have ear issue. Will aim to get out today and just grab a few things, nothing much only enough to make the trip out seem worthwhile.

Should have been out at Ascot races today too (Wednesday an annual fixture in my diary) as part of a week off for my birthday but that is all obviously cancelled. Going to nip out again tomorrow (Thursday) and pick up something nice for tea in Iceland ideally a joint, or a curry plus essentials for the weekend too.
Happy birthday to me, today, 30th April and I now not only share it with my Niece's boy Harry (Aged 9) but also with the legend that is Captain Tom Moore who is 100 today!!
Rest of the week will continue to be quiet so shall just find something to do at home including continuing to catalogue my trains (nearly completed the N Gauge items in the boxes). Maybe get some of them out for a test run over the weekend and swap the models that have been out on display for a while too.
