Week seven under lock down and still working at home, now I'm 51 what's going to happen this year I wonder, well hopefully sometime in the not too distant future we can plan some time away and go see some Railway gala's and open days, although looking at the calendar most of this is cancelled till about August at the earliest.
Did hear from Cousin Jo again which was nice, also ex work colleague Steve and my far away gorgeous gal Sarah so they are high on my list to go and visit when we can. Have begun to fret a bit about a return to the office, feels like we are not out the woods yet with this Coronavirus even if the government say we are over the peak, long way to go in my opinion and I don't want a return before end May really. Short working week this time as Friday is the rearranged Bank Holiday to coincide with the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Did not sleep well at all on Monday night / Tuesday morning so clearly the worry is getting to me already. Hopefully Tuesday will pass by without too much drama, listened to a few podcasts including the boxing one which is always good. Planning on going out for bit of shopping on Wednesday probably Iceland and get enough in for the weekend ahead, although I achieved this today still feel like I don't have what I really want, but it'll have to do and did all my other chores too today. Hopefully Thursday will be peaceful and we can then have a few days to rest.
Friday the start of a long weekend will spend some time following the online commemoration of the 75th anniversary of 'VE Day'. The British Legion had many events planned, all scaled back now, but nonetheless worth sparing some time to appreciate the lives we now have.
