Merry Christmas everyone ! Hope it's going to be pleasant enough and we survive the final week of the year at work without too many dramas. At least we'll be paid during the week too so we can plan a few things for the end of the week, all cards are sent, couple of birthdays over Xmas / New Year and we need some dinners and bits for Christmas for myself. Wrap up the gifts for Mrs Hughes, and then see how we do the rest of the week. Monday, not expecting many in work, in fact only about four, so just have a quiet day and keep busy, bit too grey and miserable to go out today so will save that joy for tomorrow. Tuesday lets see what today has for us, got a little cash out for me can pick up some beers locally later, also been round the shops and got snacks and sweeties in just an Iceland shop to do either Wed/Thurs for some Xmas dinner bits, milk bread and all that. If I cannot get what I am after, can just get some bacon, fillers and rolls and have a quiet one. Not that fussed about Xmas really as I will be alone again, if I have some drinks and nibbles that will be fine. Wednesday very quiet day, losing money again, sad, had a nice call with Will Cheung not spoken for a long time, and managed to nip out and get some beers in for later. Paid some bills, try and have enough for the week ahead, get something in tomorrow for Christmas Day itself, but I have milk, and soups, it might have to do. Thursday will get out and see if shops have anything left, and have some cash out for myself, then all being well you are done for this years festivities. Not a lot of Christmas stuff out there so will just have a quiet one for myself had a call with Graham too and finished the day off all ready for a few days off now. Friday is Christmas Day, and a nice lay in, bath and get ready for a quiet one. Call with Jo Rand was nice and pleased to hear that Margaret is fine too just not sending cards out which is okay. A small dinner in the evening, and open a bottle of wine, will have to try and find some peace and be good to yourself this week. Saturday is Boxing Day and the traditional horse racing at Kempton Park as well as plenty of football, try and have a better day today as you begin to see the year out.
