2021 DIARY WEEK FIVE 25th JAN - 31st JAN

Monday morning and we get paid so first thing lets get a few bills settled and hopefully have a couple of quid left over for myself. Lost a fair bit as usual end of last week and we didn't enjoy a very pleasant day on Friday so I hope that this week improves significantly. Sun might be out, but still very cold, the snow hopefully will begin to disappear before tomorrow, not going out far today. See how the month ends, will need to find a birthday card for Pam before this weekend. Tuesday will include another gaming session with the guys, roll playing yet another new campaign and hopefully will go fine, we missed having Gareth along on Sunday, I am struggling this week, not sure what I can do to make it better as will power just doesn't exist for me. Get out today and get rent money out, plus a few bits for the week, a bigger shop trip later in the week perhaps. Wednesday seemed to have slept better overnight, but the day doesn't start well again losing money once more. Hurting. Thursday been awake since about 2am, not a good start. Update some more blogs elsewhere as we prepare for February, write and send birthday card for Pam, try and get out for a few supplies for the weekend? Hopefully work will be a little more easier to bear today, well it was at least quiet but sadly I didn't have the best afternoon all of my own doing. See how you get along on Friday which to be honest wasn't a great start as I still cannot sleep, up from about 1.30am but got a few hours later on. Then work was fine and pulled back some money which means we are no longer behind, but still very little for myself. Trying to get enough together to cover Saturday morning dogs, which I failed miserably and ended up back where I started behind on the day. Typical rubbish weekend ahead. So fed up with this.

2021 DIARY WEEK FOUR 18th JAN - 24th JAN

Final week before being paid for January this is usually a tight week for me, thankfully I would appear to have enough this month so we should be fine. What I would like to get is a card and some money for my God-Daughter Annelise who is turning 17 on Sunday. So will see how Monday fares initially, replies to Fabrizio and Julia have been completed, am also beginning a 'Park Walk' program that I found online, similar to the couch to 5k events, this is very doable for me and would be nice to follow for the next couple of months. This should take us up to the end of March all being well, though I might see it as something I can repeat as I am not exactly in the peak of physical fitness. Get myself through today and then we will see what Tuesday has in store for us, been out for a few bits and pieces today, will do main shopping on Friday or Saturday. Other blogs to be updated this week and Tuesday is of course the weekly gaming night so hopefully I will be fine for that again this week and as it turned out the software seemed to work a lot better this week. Wednesday how did we sleep? Actually not too bad, though another grey looking day out there, still fancy going out if we have a time slot between meetings today, weather not great so maybe defer this till tomorrow. Thursday slept a bit better, and up to see that the storm overnight had cleared away. Will go out later on today for some bits and pieces for the weekend. Sent messages to Ken to say hello, hope he's well, no more replies from others, at least Cathy laughed at my Nigella twitter shared post. Bored with work and feeling tired, nearly the end of the week though so that's great. Lost £40 which is annoying as you still need to find money for Annie's birthday, hopefully this can happen over the weekend. Made it to Friday, update work situation, new laptop for work might be coming soon too and I got Annie's birthday card and money sent out too. Picked up some drinks for the weekend and see if you can get into this new roll playing campaign sometime. Try and have a nice weekend.

2021 DIARY WEEK THREE 11th JAN - 17th JAN

Hopefully a peaceful week, cannot say that 2021 has begun very well for us, lets try and improve the situation. FA Cup draw later on BBC 2 Monday night, no Dons involvement sadly but will see if there are any big ties for the 4th round and the 5th round is also being made at the same time. Monday, also prepare a blog for the midweek racing at Kempton (Wed) then there's a football one to do for next weekend vs Sunderland as well as the next round of play off games in the NFL. Try and get through the first part of the week, work is busy but very tiresome, if I make it through Monday first that will help and then Tuesday is more gaming sessions in evening. Get out and empty the bag, hopefully get a few bits and pieces shopping for this week, Tuesday would be good to get lunch in as we have the gaming session later. Written up blogs, getting ready for the second part of the week, still not feeling great especially as limited time out and not met friends for nearly a year now. Bought loads of things for myself and home again for more meetings and calls. Gaming was a bit difficult though with application being a bit buggy and lag slowing us all down. Fell asleep watching a film and missed the last few minutes, oh well, catch up on things on Wednesday and try for a better day. At least the weekly Kempton racing blog had another successful evening which is nice and will try and keep that going this season. Still not happy with my life, no surprise there though. Been up again from about 3am Thursday, plenty of meetings this morning and it's raining out so will probably go for some more shopping on Friday instead. Did manage a small victory which will allow me a bit of cash for the weekend, get some lagers in for the gaming sessions next week. 

Up around 5am Friday and another small win allows us to get a bit more money out later, will help for the weekend ahead. Manage to get yourself through the day and the weekend you can rest, have a lay in as well as looking at the DnD character plus the notes from Richard for the new campaign "Curse of Strahd".

2021 DIARY WEEK TWO 4th JAN - 10th JAN

Back to work on Monday 4th, at least a distraction from your recent disasters. I have got rolls and filler for lunches Monday/Tuesday then the key fixture is going out Wednesday to deposit funds to bank. More gaming with the guys on Tuesday night too but the opening weeks of 2021 are going to be quiet really. Looks like Boris will announce more lock downs and restrictions but I have to do the bank at the very least so this has to be the priority. Didn't enjoy Monday at all, and will need to survive this week, at least able to say hello to Liz/Jenny earlier. Then we will quickly move onto Tuesday, have updated other blogs which is nice, and tonight is a regular gaming night too. But been up most of the night struggling and I probably won't be better till I've done the bank and sorted money out today. Completed my trip out to Richmond and hopefully won't need to go far for a while now, have enough food in for the time being, perhaps go out end of the week for milk and few supplies. See if you can sleep tonight and how does Wednesday look for you? Was awake about 5am so that was a better night for a change, not really enjoying the gaming sessions but try and stick with it and support the team. Had a slightly better day overall, need to go shopping tomorrow, nice chat with Liz, ironing a few bits too and then hopefully we will have a peaceful evening. Thursday morning awake about 4am but did get back off till my alarm sounded at 8am which was a pleasant change, checked that money situation was fine, and we have the commission from Freemans in so about £30-40 for myself having paid bills. Go out and get something in for lunch and supplies for the weekend as planned later today. The afternoon passed by without too much hassle, so we are close to the weekend now. See how Friday is, hopefully still fine. My heater arrived but it's bigger than expected and mains powered where I thought it was going to be a USB one but I guess I should have read up a bit more on that, even so it seems to work well enough and the light might help in the gaming sessions. Horse Racing and Football on this weekend, but generally will be a quiet one for us and recharge if you can for the week ahead. 

2020 DIARY YEAR END vs 2021 DIARY WEEK ONE BEGINS 28th DEC - 3rd JAN

That's another Christmas gone and now we have a full week off work to enjoy, congratulations to Bryony Frost and Frodon (pic left) winning the King George VI Chase at Kempton Park and making history once again. Sad that we lost Big Country on the flat though so was a mixed weekend for the sport. AFC Wimbledon lost once again, 2-0 to Oxford becoming a habit now and expecting another relegation battle this season. No games till New Year for us now as the Ipswich Town fixture has been called off for Coronavirus precautions in the Ipswich squad. Monday is technically a bank holiday, it's fine and we have a few days to rest and recover my thoughts. Feeling tired and run down, so try and do something you enjoy. Upset myself as continued to lose money even though you had started well, have no appetite for the gaming session planned for later and will probably head for the safety of bed early tonight instead. Then see if Tuesday can shape better for you, have a lay in for a start, no need to get up early today. Not brilliant, but we'll see how we go, had some success, see if it can last out the day? Tried to power up some trains but they don't appear to be working, I think maybe the controller is ruined, at least I have a spare? Hopefully Wednesday will turn out better, shall top up Oyster card and pop out to Tesco later on today, sadly we've lost a load more and are behind again. I cannot stop myself, so sad, will surely be the end of me. Later tonight the guys are doing a gaming night so lets see if I can enjoy that or not? Not really in the mood but will have to give it a go. 

It was a good session and we will have another on Sunday night too, I even had a decent night sleep and woke up feeling better on Thursday (New Years Eve). Sadly Thursday didn't go well for me, I am behind by a fair amount so need to go out next week and visit bank (Richmond) to deposit some to cover myself. Very Sad. Horse racing is off on Friday too the meetings at Cheltenham and Exeter being cancelled due to a waterlogged course. Spend most of Friday listening to music and podcasts and try to find some peace with yourself. Saturday we have some football to follow and need to count your losses so that you can repair this next week. Have a good New Year.
