After recent weeks I actually didn't have a half bad weekend to begin with, given the news from Friday about the company being sold off I think it'll will sort itself out and what will be will be. There's very little I can do about that and will see what the coming months have in store for us all. I suspect that an office move will be needed but that's been on the cards for a while and if it's somewhere in the similar sort of area that will be okay. We will wait and see. Still having some issues with my eyesight so trying to rest it as much as I can.
Was visited by my friends Vince and Ciara who were up to see his Mum and bring along their two children, nice afternoon watching them play and a little catch up too. Have said about going to Hastings for a few days in September so will look to book up trains and then sort out a B&B too, if I go Saturday can stop Sat/Sun and meet Vince on the Sunday then travel home on Monday afternoon. Sounds like a plan, and a trip to the seaside might be what I need.
Sunday watching the Grand Prix racing, and preparing horse racing blogs for the coming week. It's a busy time as both Galway and Goodwood festivals are on. We did have a small win on the weekend which helped my mood, but plenty to do in order to turn other things around. At least I've enough to get by this month and book train tickets for Hastings trip.
The football season is nearly upon us, AFC Wimbledon begin away at Scunthorpe on Saturday and then have couple of home games next week against Brentford (League Cup R1) and then Shrewsbury. Looking forward to a good season in League One this year, especially while the new stadium begins to be built back in Plough Lane.
School holidays in full effect this August and you know that Christmas will be here in double quick time. Enjoy the summer. Peace and Love. Xx
