This week is Royal Ascot with a big difference, no Royals, no crowds, no fashion. We'll follow it anyway and have Thursday / Friday off this week to chill out ... but staying home. Will give Graham a call towards the end of the week and see how they are, also John's birthday as well as my friend Julia so have sent cards. Feeling very tired on Monday and have plenty to get on with so try and clear a few things before your days off, written up blogs for Royal Ascot and will update results during the week.
Tuesday still nice and sunny, need to pop out later, and if I can have a good day at work we have a gaming night with guys tonight. Work wasn't that much fun, frustrating, but have got a few things in and will go for more shopping on Wednesday after which we can try and find some peace to enjoy the days off at the end of the week. This will also be the last week for Simon Lewis my "boss" for the past eighteen months but he's been taking a distant back seat for a while now and there will be no leaving do of course while the current crisis continues. No sign of returning to office so have ordered couple of bits for me online and then we can get some shopping in too on card saving funds on other card and cash in tin for another month. Lee did another quiz night on Wednesday which I tried to get into but bailed out when it stopped taking my correct answers is rather frustrating, especially when the gaming night was fine. Will skip these in future, question is what to do with days off on Thursday and Friday? Well Thursday surprised me by starting off with a £500 win on the casino bonus which I will try and put to good use today as well as taking out at least half of it. Raining today so quiet one at home and enjoy the peace forget about work today and enjoy the racing instead. Take away tonight I think from Just Eat especially if we can find a winner later this afternoon, not surprisingly didn't keep that money and blown it all in double quick time again. A quiet weekend ahead now and we had a video call with the office team to say farewell to Simon. Not very happy, but maybe the next month can see us improve a bit, still have money in tin, money in M&S account and not using the pay day advance accounts now. If/When the banks reopen we need to be careful. Think about using that wisely and have a few days off in July too would be nice to do something good.
