2020 DIARY WEEK TWENTY FOUR 8th JUNE - 14th JUNE Isolated WFH #12

Reached three months of working at home and long may it continue as the travelling would not be much fun and the early starts too would be a shock again to the system. Let us see what joy we have this week from Monday, have already updated some other blog posts for the horse racing that has returned in the past week. Next week will be 'Royal Ascot' only behind closed doors and without her majesty in attendance for the first time. Glad that Monday did begin well enough with 100 free spins on a William Hill promo that earned over £100 which is nice, ensure that you get some of that out and will use towards this week's shopping. Also my colleague the lovely Liz has been making face masks and will be sending me one to use which is very kind of her. Rest of the day was pretty average, so as we move onto Tuesday hopefully it will be a good week. Wasn't much fun really as plenty of calls and meetings, while trying to get myself ready for a gaming session later on in the evening.
Usual technology problems but the guys seemed to enjoy it and there was some banter which is always fine. Probably another one next Tuesday and Lee also has a quiz for Wednesday too but I might pass on that one. Feeling tired and fed up despite a reasonable amount of sleep for Wednesday morning, did the usual calls and then popped out for some shopping as there was no queue. Good. The evening had nice chicken dinner, see what else is on this week and try to catch up on podcasts. Money is now topped up on the Oyster card ready to go and we might even pop out again on Thursday if we can get to poundland for some more things (do it Friday instead), else we shall leave it till next week but then you need to be using masks. Didn't have a pleasant afternoon but jumped in bath and chill out tonight. Hopefully Friday will be better, another week seen off, go out as planned in morning, then be fine for the weekend ahead. Did some shopping, got some beers too, will get more over weekend but this will probably see me through. Then planning ahead for next week which is mostly Royal Ascot behind closed doors and have couple of days off next week too.
